Does Absence Really Make the Heart Grow Fonder?

I haven't blogged in a while. Perhaps you've noticed by the dates on the entries. What can I say, but that things happened. Life.

You may also have noticed that my previous entry - my first in months - is slightly more political than usual. And so be it.

There was a time when I thought that I would just be discussing art and entertainment (oh, silly me); but after what seemed like an endless campaign season, I said the hell with it. I'll talk politics, too.

Besides, art has the power (and the tendency) to engage us politically anyway. So - while art and entertainment is still the focus of the blog, politics will come into play more often.
